Dear Lions and Leos of NJ MD 16:
In compliance with By-Laws Article VI of the Constitution and By-Laws of MD-16, I, Dawn Marie Kosobucki, Council Chair (MD-16), hereby issue the official Call for the 2025 New Jersey State Convention.
The New Jersey Lions (MD-16) 104th State Convention will be held from Thursday May 15, 2025 to Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, NJ. The purpose of the convention will be to elect District officers, including Governors and Vice Governors for Sub Districts, and to transact such other business as may properly come before the meetings.
As in the past but yet expanding, we will be having multiple seminars, exhibits, service project, Memorial Service, LCIF Dinner Hospitality room, Awards, sub districts meetings, Strides Walk for Diabetes and concluding with the Saturday Night Gala.
Our International Guest will be International Director Lion Chris Carlone from Louisiana. Director Chris elected to serve a two-year term as an international director of Lions International at the association’s 106th International Convention in Melbourne, Australia, June 21 through June 25, 2024.
Registration information will be emailed to you in a separate email. On behalf of the Council of Governors, I encourage every club in the Multiple District to participate in the 104th New Jersey Lions State Convention.
