Camp Marcella Annual Harvest Luncheon & Award Presentation


Dear Friend and Supporter of Camp Marcella:


On Sunday, October 19, 2014 the Trustees and Advisors of New Jersey Camp for Blind Children, Inc. –“Camp Marcella” will be hosting their Annual Harvest Luncheon and Awards Presentation.  The Harvest Luncheon is one of our primary fundraising activities.


NJCFBCI is totally managed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees, with 100% of all proceeds from our activities being used for improvements to and maintenance of the camp. With a rise in the cost of maintaining our facility and grounds and a decrease in donations, any   support given is greatly appreciated. 


You can help by purchasing a ticket, a journal ad or making a donation-appropriate forms are enclosed.  Perhaps you would consider being an Event or Table Sponsor.  Please contact for additional information.


This year we will be honoring Trish Morris-Yamba, Past Executive  Director Newark Day Center/ Newark Fresh Air Fund and “Friend of Camp Marcella”.  She will be the recipient of the Walter Margetts Award, presented to a volunteer.  not a Trustee or Advisor,  for their continuous and dedicated support that is provided to Camp Marcella.


Also being honored this year is Michael Pacala, President Camp Marcella Board Of Trustees.  He will be the recipient of the Nathan Rogoff Award presented to a Camp Trustee or Advisor   for their ongoing support and dedication to Camp Marcella.


Any support that you provide will be greatly appreciated by our Trustees and Advisors but most-importantly by the blind and visually impaired and multiply-disabled campers who attend Camp Marcella each summer!
